Muay Thai "8 points of contact"

Hello all! It's Marcus again hope you have enjoyed the past few post i have share with you all. And again today I will be sharing about the last 2 "points of contact" in Muay thai the legs, or rather, kicking known as "Te" in the Thai Language.

The kicking in Muay thai usually needs the full body rotation.

Below is the different kicking techniques that I am going to share, followed by their Thai romanization.

Straight Kick(Te trong)
Roundhouse Kick(Te tat)
Diagonal Kick(Te chiang)
Half-Shin, Half-Knee kick(Te khrueng khaeng khureng khao)
Spinning Heel Kick(Te klap lang)
Down Roundhouse Kick(Te kot)
Axe Heel Kick(Te khao)
Jump Kick(Kradot te)
Step-Up Kick(Khayeop te)

The kicking in muay Thai can be very deadly as when a person is trained hard enough he can even break a banana tree with his bare legs. Below is a video on breaking a banana tree using pure leg kicking and of course years of shin conditioning.

I DO NOW OWN ANYTHING IN THIS VIDEO! IT IS JUST AN ADAPTATION FROM YOUTUBE!!                                                                                        The next video is a video on kicking techniques.
I Hope you enjoy this post hope you will tune in again! The next post is on Muay Thai self training and training under supervision! Don't you want to know how to self train? There is no trick by the way! Thanks for reading and comment below! See you again!
